Here’s an exciting new bamboo, only introduced into cultivation within the last decade, and certainly one of our most prized varieties. The golden yellow culms are decorated with vertical green stripes of varying thickness, as if gently applied with a Chinese paint brush. This unique plant is hardy, but appreciates a sunny position, where it may grow extremely high. We think that as a specimen plant it makes a splendid talking point in the garden.
